How is it the song goes “California here I come…..”? Only for a few hours though, on my way to Sydney, Australia. My flight connects in L.A., total traveling time 24 hours.

Now that it is actually on paper it’s pretty daunting. This is so different from most of my previous trips. I hardly ever pre book my hotels or take organized tours, this time I am trying to be a different kind of traveler, perhaps a bit more organized in what I do and see.
As I perceive Australia, it is so much of nature, wildlife, aboriginal history and the people of today and I want to experience it all during my short visit. This trip is only 3 1/2 weeks and I am going to try to cram in as much as I can.
I am so very much looking forward to this trip and to be able to have you all come along.
